One of Nigeria’s most distinguished producers and directors AMAKA IGWE is dead. She reportedly suffered an asthmatic attack, and died while being taken to the hospital.
According to reports, she was in Enugu for pre-production of an Igbo series when the unfortunate incident occurred. She is survived by 3 children, her husband of 21 years and her mother. She is the creator of one of the best TV shows in Nigeria of all time – Fuji’s House of Commotion. She was also responsible for the hit series ‘Checkmate’ and Violated. Rest in Peace.
