Based in the East End of London – on the River Lee, Bow Back River, Regent’s Canal and Hertford Union Canal – Floating Cinema is basically a boat with a screen on it. Developed to form part of the CREATE11 summer festival and curated by artists Nina Pope and Karen Guthrie, The Floating Cinema will be showing a broad range of yet-to-be-announced films, along with various workshops and talks. But that’s not all… it will also be projecting large-scale screenings onto bank-side screens and canal-side architecture.
