The Project
The Diaspora Real Estate Project (DIAREP) is an international platform that is provided for credible Nigerian real estate developers to showcase their estate development projects to Nigerians in diaspora for consideration and subscription. It will also serve as a channel for British real estate companies to showcase their properties to prominent Nigerians for acquisition.
The Objectives
DIAREP’s objective is to mitigate the risks, insecurity and cynicisms impeding Nigerians in diaspora from property investment in Nigeria and, to provide a holistic solution to meeting their real estate needs and that of eligible Nigeria developers seeking to service the diaspora market.
The Conception
Nigerians in Diaspora strive to acquire homes and investment properties in their home country nonetheless they frequently suffer shortfalls through unstructured ways that lack basis for accountability and enforcement of contractual terms and conditions. The few sustained acquisitions are usually characterized with dissatisfaction either in location choice, building design, poor quality, cost overrun and or outright fraud.
