Global chemical producer Indorama Corp. Pte Ltd. and African polyolefins producer Indorama Eleme Petrochemicals Ltd. have signed a financing package to construct a $1.2 billion greenfield urea fertilizer project in Nigeria, Indorama Eleme announced Monday.The Indorama Eleme Fertilizer & Chemicals Ltd. megasized fertilizer project will play a large role in addressing critical Nigerian and West African requirements for economically priced fertilizers and growing demand for fertilizer by utilizing Nigeria’s vast hydrocarbon reserves, according to IEFCL.
