Cuban Cultural Delegation Arrives Nigeria

Cuban cultural delegation led by Obiní Batá, a representative of the Cuban Cultural Heritage Fund, a journalist of the Cuban television information system, as well as an official from the Ministry of Culture of Cuba arrived in Nigeria to further strengthen the bilateral relations between both countries, the Cuban embassy in Nigeria has announced.

In a statement announcing the arrival of the group in Abuja, the embassy said the group will tour several states in Nigeria before going back to their country to show case a handful of their cultures to Nigerians.

“Under the patronage of the artist, Tar Ukoh, the Cuban delegation will tour with its art several Nigerian states and it will transmit how close the Nigerian and the Cuban people are in the cultural sphere,” the statement read.
