A barge full of comedians, string quartets in helicopters, aerial acrobatics in Cathedrals, a coach perched on an art gallery roof, and poetry installations on remote beaches are among the examples of ‘art in unusual places’ which is one of the key themes of the London 2012 Festival, a 12-week Festival running from 21 June – 9 September 2012 to celebrate the Games.
