The Enugu State University of Science and Technology has expelled five hundred and forty-four Students for allegedly securing admission into the university illegally.

But some of the affected students who spoke to our correspondent on conditions of anonymity claimed that the authorities of the same institution that announced their expulsion gave them registration numbers after they gained admission.

They also claimed that their admissions were facilitated by some staff of the universities after they paid huge sums money, adding that their names appeared on the admission list of the university.

Also, some alleged that they were expelled from the university because they could not afford the new school fees of the institution.

The new fee is reportedly between N100, 000 and120, 000 per session.
