Optimus Prime and Bumblebee are getting ready to engage as Transformers: Dark of the Moon comes to the Science Museum, sponsoring RobotvilleEU between 30th November and 4th December.
RobotvilleEU Festival will celebrate the most cutting-edge in robot design and innovation and explores the cultural significance of robots, with the Science Museum playing host to over 20 unique robots, many of which will be on show to the British public for the first time.
As part of RobotvilleEU, Transformers: Dark of the Moon – released on Blu-ray triple play and DVD on 28th November – will be offering museum-goers the chance to get an exclusive insight into the highest grossing robot film of all time, Transformers: Dark of the Moon.
Throughout RobotvilleEU there will be exclusive Transformers: Dark of the Moon behind-the-scenes footage being screened around the Science Museum. Museum-goers will also have the chance to get up close and personal with an 8ftstatue of Optimus Prime created out of hundreds of blocks of futuristic KRE-O Lego and experience the might of the Transformers for themselves!
RobotvilleEU begins on 30th November at the Museum’s late night opening for adults and is open for five days. The festival opens the Science Museum’s month long celebration of robots throughout December, consisting of talks with experts, robot workshops, QAs with curators, art installations and multimedia and much more all the way up to the New Year.
