Nigeria plans to sell its first sukuk within 18 months, Central Bank of Nigeria Governor Lamido Sanusi said today.
The country’s Debt Management Office is working on policies to be able to enact the sale of the Islamic bonds, Sanusi told reporters on the sidelines of a conference on Islamic finance in Dakar, Senegal, today.
