A Boost for Nigeria’s Creative Economy

Speaking on the initiative, Tola Akerele, General Manager/CEO of the National Theatre, highlighted the institution’s commitment to nurturing talent in line with the Federal Government’s push for youth empowerment and creative industry growth.

“This partnership reflects our dedication to elevating Nigerian storytelling on the global stage. By investing in our writers, we’re not just developing skills—we’re shaping the future of entertainment and culture,” Akerele stated.
