ARMED GUNMEN stormed the Los Angeles home of singer Chris Brown yesterday (July 15) and held the star’s aunt at gunpoint before forcing her into a closet, police have said.
The Loyal singer was reportedly clubbing in Hollywood when the 2am raid at his $4.5 million mansion took place.
His aunt is thought to have alerted the authorities after the intruders, who ransacked the house, took money and other property, made off on foot.
Brown recently purchased the San Fernando Valley house and shared his new purchase via Instagram with an image of his impressive walk-in closet.
This is the second home invasion the star has suffered in a matter of months.
In May, Brown returned home to find fan Amira Ayeb, 21, naked in his bed.
He wrote on Instagram at the time: “I get home and find this crazy individual in my house. She had broken the hinges off the doors. She Found time to cook her several meals. She wrote ‘I love you’ on the walls. She threw out my daughters clothing as well as my dogs stuff. Then had all these crazy voodoo things around my crib.”
Ayeb subsequently pleaded not guilty to first-degree residential burglary, stalking and vandalism.
At present, there have been no arrest for the latest invasion, but the Brown’s mother Joyce Hawkins appeared to have her own suspicions, cryptically tweeting: “Watch who you standing beside.”
Many interpreted her tweet to mean she thought the attack was orchestrated by someone known to Brown.
