UK POLICE were hunting for a man who abducted a young mother from her home in east London just 90 minutes before she was found stabbed to death in an abandoned car.
The man was believed to be the ex-boyfriend of the victim, named as 20-year-old Kirsty Treloar, and the father of their newborn daughter, The Sun reported.
Ms Treloar, who was kidnapped from her Hackney home following a disturbance, gave birth to her first child last month, Sky News reported.
The victim’s 22-year-old brother Dean and her sister Gemma, 24, also suffered stab injuries during her abduction.
Just over an hour after she was taken, Treloar’s body was discovered in a gray Fiat Stilo, which was parked in an alleyway just 2.6kms away and she was pronounced dead at 8.34am.
A Scotland Yard spokesman said, “Whilst we await formal identification we believe the victim to be Kirsty Treloar.”
Treloar’s month-old baby girl was also inside the home but was not hurt, police said.
