Nigeria has again, emerged overall winner for

Forever Living Products, FLP, sales in Africa in 2010. FLP South Africa was ranked 2nd. FLP Nigeria has thus established its leadership position in Africa in the global network of the multilevel marketing company.

The announcement was made at the just-concluded FLP African Rally held in Cape Town, South Africa.

This achievement has been attributed to the diligence of the company’s independent distributors all over Nigeria and Benin Republic, as well as commitment of the Managing Director, Mr. Cornelius Olanrewaju Tay along with a highly efficient staff across Nigeria

Parading nearly 600 distributors at the rally, Nigeria/Benin pocketed most of the awards at this year’s African rally.

Nigeria/Benin won the Country Pride Award which was personally handed over to the Managing Director, Mr Tay by founder and Chairman, FLP International Inc., Mr. Rex Maughan, on the Day 2 of the Rally.

The Country Pride Award is given annually to the country that shows the greatest enthusiasm, overall good conduct and projects the culture and image of the nation they represent the most.

It was almost an all-Nigeria affair as Africa’s top five distributors for 2011 were recognised by Rex Maughan. Nigeria took four places in this ranking, with John and Justina Ekperigin as Africa’s number one distributors for the second year running.

Kike and David Apeji emerged Africa’s number two distributors; Maria and Clement Idigo, Africa’s number three distributors and Oma and Tony Attah came fourth in the top five ranking.

South Africa’s Thabani Jabulani Nombuso Biyela came 5th.

Congratulating Africa’s top five, Tay commended their achievements and recognition at the rally.

The FLP Nigeria/Benin Managing Director told the top distributors that they must “know that all of us are happy for your achievements and that Africa is proud of you. There are really no limits to what we can achieve with Forever. In the next rally, we want to see Nigeria coming 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th . That is what we pray to hear next year when you go on the stage in Sun City, Johannesburg, South Africa for what promises to become a historic African rally.”

The event also included “African Rally Profit Share.” The profit sharing segment of this year’s event lived up to expectation in showcasing African distributors’ great achievements from Ghana, Cameroun, East Africa, South Africa, Senegal, Nigeria, Benin Republic, Ivory Coast, Tanzania, Zimbabwe and Burkina Faso. One hundred and fourteen distributors shared this year’s bonus amount of over US$2.6 million, with Nigeria featuring 23 profit share qualifiers.

The top cheque of US$234,327.22 was awarded to Thabani Nombuso Biyela of South Africa; 2nd top cheque of US$233.864.52 went to Sebastiao Feliciana Joan Manuel of Angola, while the 3rd top cheque of US$207,000.00 went to Nigeria’s John Justina Ekperigin.  Distributors who broke the Manager and above levels were specially recognised on stage by Rex Maughan, Gregg Maughan, President and Gary Shreeve, Vice-President, Africa.

Over 275 new managers were decorated and recognised on stage, with 37 Senior Managers, 20 Soaring Managers , 9 Sapphire Managers and one Diamond Sapphire Manager. Recognitions also went to distributors who qualified as Eagle Managers, Senior Eagle Managers and Soaring Eagle Managers for their outstanding achievements with FLP business.
