Obviously, the link was working when it was posted. The problem is that the High Commission website is down. How can the official website be down, yet another embarrassing moment for Nigerians in the UK. Why don’t they subscribe to a local provider like Nigerian Webhosts: http://www.nigerianwebhosts.com and sign up for 5 years hosting to guarantee the website will be up and running. Why not give the job of managing the website to Nigerian Professionals who do that sort of thing for a living?
The link for the lost/found Nigerian e-passport does not work.
I don’t know why a link would be hosted in the first place if it won’t work.Nigerians depend on information as such to help them in any way possible to help navigate round a situation of lost passports.
Again i don’t know why i have to travel to Abuja just to get my lost e-passport re-issued when it can easily be done here in the Uk.It just doesnt make sense, such policies should not have been thought of in the first instance,we just like stressing ourselves and things dont work like this.
The way Nigerians are also treated at the Nigerian embassy UK(Embankment) is unfair.Very unprofessional staffs, giving assistance relloctantly forgeting that as Nigerians we have rights at our embassies to fair treatment and assistance if needed.
