Eagles Officials’ French Visas Delayed As Echiejile Lands In Camp

Barring any last minute hitches, the Super Eagles of Nigeria will leave in batches for this weekend’s international friendlies against Mali on 27 May and Luxembourg on 1 June.

This is because six members of the contingent have not been issued entry visas into France for the encounter.

They include the team’s media officer Toyin Ibitoye, team coordinator Patrick Pascal, assistant coaches Imama Amamakapbo and Kenedy Boboye, and the team’s physiotherapist.

Also yet to receive his entry visa for the game is Sunshine Stars goalkeeper Ikechukwu Ezenwa.

Meanwhile AS Monaco defender, Elderson Echiejile, has arrived at the team’s camp ahead of the encounter, Completesportsnigeria.com can report.

The 28-year-old flew in from Lagos on Monday evening to bring the number of players to six.
