MUSIC PRODUCER Timbaland has revealed that he’s in possession of unheard Aaliyah tracks, and he’s preparing to release them.

The Empire producer is getting ready to share the unheard tracks from the late princess of R&B, he revealed over the weekend.

Timbaland famously worked with Aaliyah on her second album One In A Million with Missy Elliot, and 2001’s Aaliyah – her last studio album before her death in a plane crash that same year.

Over the weekend, Timbaland posted several photos of Aaliyah on his Instagram, revealing he will release never-heard-before music from the late singer.

Timbaland captioned one of the photos, with: “Attention!!!!! People ask me all the time do I have any babegirl music we haven’t heard !!!!!well the answer is YES!!!!!!!! TIMBO x BABEGIRL !!!!! Sneak peak coming !!!!!!!”

It’s not the first time music from Aaliyah has been released posthumously as an official collection was brought out in 2002, called I Care 4 U, as well as more tracks in the subsequent years after her tragic death.

Drake and Chris Brown have incorporate various samples of the singer’s music on their records, much to Timba’s dislike.

Two years ago, Timbaland told ReVolt TV he would prefer if they do not use her samples because the singer’s only musical “soulmate” is him.

“In music, people always say, ‘I’m going to do a song with Aaliyah.’ It will never work. Chris Brown got a record, it won’t work. Drake can go do a record with Aaliyah, it ain’t gonna work. Aaliyah music only work with its soulmate, which is me,” he said.
