“The 14 schools will get complete school uniforms, sportswear, recreational equipment, sandals, belts, school bags and books. It is our aim that all schools will get full materials later, this is the beginning of great things to come from us.”

Responding, Mr. McDonald Akpojevwa, Chief Inspector of Education, Warri South-West Area said; “On behalf of the Commissioner, the principals, students and pupils, I humbly thank you for this kind gesture.

“It is marvelous that in these hard times, an illustrious son is donating these items. The items will be put to judicious use for the benefit of the children.

Adding his voice, Mr. Godspower Uyabribinde, Secretary of LGEA said; “Today is historic. We are proud to be associated with this foundation in their stride for developing education in the area.

“Education is a phenomenon of ages. The Bible says ‘my people perish for lack of knowledge,’ that shows the importance of education. Education is the best legacy we can leave for our children.

“In this light, Tompolo Foundation in our education sector is a new dawn which we will cherish, embrace and maintain to achieve prescribed objectives.”
