Mark Zukerberg Makes Instagram Founders Multi-Millionaire
When the founder of Instagram, Kevin Systrom, turned down a job at Facebook 8 years ago, little did he know that he will soon become a shareholder at the same company.
On Monday, Facebook announced it has acquired Instragram in a deal worth $1 billion which will be paid for in cash and Facebook Stock. Kevin Systrom stands to pocket an estimated windfall of $400 million, while is co-founder Mike Krieger will earn $100 million.
Other 11 employees will share $100 million, in the photo-sharing app company, while the rest $400 million will be converted to Facebook stocks.
