Pfizer Nutrition, a subsidy of Pfizer Inc. has introduced a product that addresses the bad eating habit of children between ages 3-10 years.

Rajiv Das, the general manager, Pfizer Nutrition, West Africa region said at the launch that children are increasingly becoming to chosy in choice of food, which may not necessary be the best for them.

“The products address children who eat only one kind of food, children who don’t eat food in the right nutrients. So we decided to bring this product with all the essential nutrients that the child needs to grow up. For now there is no product in the Nigerian market that can address this problem. We identified that this is a very unique market and we designeda the product to address that need” he explained.

“It’s a product targeted to children between the age group of 3-10 years and it’s approved by NAFDAC. We did some consumers research in Nigeria and found out that mothers preferred a product that would help them with the choosy eating behaviour of their children” he noted.

“This product also addresses children with eaten challenges. The product has a lot of nutrients and the vanilla flavour to entice the children to eat” he said.
